During its 2026 semi-annual performance briefing, Yongtai Energy announced that its first-generation solid capacity-enhancing material for vanadium battery cathodes, developed entirely in-house, has successfully undergone multi-power system testing. The material is now systematically progressing towards pilot production, scale-up trials, and eventual mass production. This innovative material substantially cuts the initial installation costs associated with vanadium battery electrolytes, expands the system's operational temperature range, and showcases remarkable cost-saving and efficiency-boosting benefits. As a result, it establishes a significant technological barrier for Yongtai Energy's energy storage business. Presently, the collaborative project between Singapore's Vnergy and a prominent chemical group in Southwest China has reached the project approval phase. Concurrently, joint efforts for product certification are being undertaken with esteemed institutions such as Singapore's Agency for Science, Technology and Research.
