IDC Report: China is a Key Engine for Growth in the Global Humanoid Robot Market

On September 30, International Data Corporation (IDC) released its latest report stating that the global humanoid robot market continues to experience explosive growth. In the first half of 2026, global shipments reached nearly 25,000 units, surging by 432.1% year-on-year, as the industry accelerates its transition from technical validation to commercial applications. Notably, the Chinese market has witnessed rapid growth, with shipments exceeding 19,000 units, accounting for 77.9% of the global market. AGIBOT shipped over 8,600 units. IDC predicts that by 2030, global shipments of humanoid robots will exceed 750,000 units, marking a period of accelerated large-scale market adoption.
