On September 22, satellite data company Planet Labs announced that it will launch a satellite manufacturing facility in Berlin this autumn, marking its first foray into satellite manufacturing in Europe and the production of Pelican satellites. Currently, its Berlin team has over 150 members, with plans to create approximately 70 additional positions by 2027.
