The findings reveal that the market size for industrial applications (excluding education, scientific research, and household consumer sectors) surpassed $270 million during this period, marking a significant year-on-year growth of 125.1%. Moreover, the deployment volume exceeded 19,000 units, with shipments witnessing a remarkable 260.5% year-on-year increase.
In terms of vendor performance, DeepRobotics emerged as the frontrunner in the industrial application market, boasting widespread deployments across various scenarios, including power inspection, industrial inspection, and emergency firefighting. Its products and solutions are highly developed, ensuring it maintains a leading position.
IDC's analysis suggests that consumer research and industrial applications are progressing concurrently. The former is driving shipment volumes and cost reductions, while the latter is crucial for commercial monetization. Currently, government and industrial manufacturing sectors represent the two primary mainstream areas, and the industrial-level market is poised for continued rapid growth in the future.
