On September 20, 2026, CAS Space successfully launched the Zhongke-1 Yao-18 carrier rocket, aptly named "Super Intelligence Computing," from the Dongfeng Commercial Space Innovation Test Zone. Meng Xiangfu, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Zhongke-1 carrier rocket project, revealed that the rocket is already in high demand, with launch schedules booked well into the second half of 2027. At present, the rocket boasts an impressive annual production capacity of 30 launches. Moreover, thanks to a dedicated launch pad and comprehensive technical support facilities, the preparation and launch cycle at the launch site can be significantly shortened to within 10 days.
