Xiguang IV-01, known as the pilot Star A of the 'Wuyang Constellation,' is poised for launch. The 'Wuyang Constellation' stands as the world's inaugural low-inclination remote sensing satellite constellation, with a specific focus on the economically vibrant low-latitude regions situated between 35 and 40 degrees north and south of the equator. The constellation is projected to comprise 3 pilot satellites and 25 operational satellites, with the ambition to establish China's premier high-resolution, wide-coverage, full-spectrum, and intelligent aerospace information service system tailored for low-latitude areas. The pilot Star A, launching this time, will undertake comprehensive technical verification, thereby laying a solid technical foundation for the subsequent networking of operational satellites.
