On September 18, reports surfaced indicating that the State Administration for Market Regulation is strategically planning and focusing on the development of a suite of national standards for quantum core devices. Recently, two standards have been officially published: 'Technical Specifications for Quantum Compressed Light Sources' and 'Performance Testing Methods for Periodically Poled Lithium Niobate Quantum Frequency Conversion Devices'. Concurrently, four new national standard projects have been launched, encompassing 'Technical Specifications for Continuous-Variable Optical Quantum Entanglement Sources in Quantum Technology'. Moreover, several standards currently in progress, such as 'Performance Characterization and Measurement Methods for Two-Photon Polarization Entanglement Sources in Quantum Technology', are advancing steadily, with the objective of expediting the enhancement of China's national standard system for quantum technology. The State Administration for Market Regulation (Standardization Administration) has expressed its commitment to accelerating the formulation of pertinent national standards, refining the standard framework for quantum core devices and critical equipment, and establishing a robust foundation for engineering technical standards within the quantum industry.
