Pioneering manufacturers, including Toyota, Honda, Nissan, and Samsung SDI, are at the forefront of small-scale trial production for ASSBs. Japanese manufacturers' automotive-grade products have already undergone validation for certain performance metrics and are now expediting performance evaluations for in-vehicle ASSB modules. TrendForce highlights that 2026 will witness significant strides in the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of ASSB technology. In key development hubs like China, Japan, and South Korea, performance validation and confirmation for ASSBs have transcended the laboratory prototype verification stage (TRL1-3), with several leading manufacturers progressing towards TRL5-6.
