Recently, a well-known hardware aficionado and modder (u/techmagnet) employed a desktop-grade CNC machine and precise reverse engineering techniques to skillfully fabricate a bespoke water cooling system for Valve's Steam Machine, all while keeping component costs under $200. Notwithstanding the original device's inherently quiet and effective cooling system, the player proceeded with and accomplished this modification.
