In reaction to rumors circulating regarding the restart of production at Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited's (CATL) Jianxiawo lithium mine in Yichun, the Ecology and Environment Bureau of Yifeng County, Yichun City, clarified the situation. During on-site inspections, it was observed that the enterprise had ceased operations for maintenance purposes. No activities, including ore loading, transportation, or crushing, were taking place. The bureau has urged the enterprise to expedite the completion of environmental impact assessment approval procedures without delay.
