On June 9, Zhejiang Yongtai Technology Co., Ltd. made an announcement revealing that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Zhejiang Yongtai New Energy Materials Co., Ltd., has entered into a substantial purchase agreement with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL). According to the terms of this agreement, over the course of 2026 to 2028, CATL is projected to procure electrolyte from Yongtai New Energy in the following quantities: 70,000 tons (with a variance of ±10,000 tons) in the first year, 150,000 tons (with a variance of ±20,000 tons) in the second year, and a staggering 250,000 tons (with a variance of ±40,000 tons) in the third year. Cumulatively, this amounts to an impressive total of approximately 470,000 tons. The agreement shall remain in effect from the date of its execution until December 31, 2028.
