On June 1st, the Beijing Satellite Internet of Things Industry Development Conference took place in Haidian District. During the event, Zhou Bin, Director of the Aerospace Industry Division at the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, formally unveiled the 'Beijing Satellite Internet of Things Industry Development Plan (Framework)'. According to the outlined framework, Beijing has set its sights on becoming the nation's premier satellite internet demonstration city, establishing an industrial cluster zone, and emerging as a globally recognized innovation hub by the year 2030. To achieve this vision, the plan delineates five pivotal tasks: infrastructure development, breakthroughs in core technologies, nurturing application scenarios, constructing a robust industrial ecosystem, and fostering regional coordination alongside international expansion, all aimed at propelling the industry towards high-quality growth.
