The administrator of the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) revealed on Wednesday that SpaceX plans to achieve 10,000 launches annually within five years, but government officials will only approve this expansion plan after seeing improved reliability. Administrator Brian Bedford stated that he had met with SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell, who introduced this ambitious goal. It is reported that SpaceX conducted 170 launches in 2025, deploying approximately 2,500 satellites.
