On May 20, Putailai revealed its strategic blueprint to allocate 5.6 billion yuan towards the establishment of a cutting-edge project, designed to produce 7.2 billion square meters of lithium-ion battery separators annually. This monumental initiative will be rolled out in two distinct phases. The inaugural phase entails a substantial investment of 2.6 billion yuan, entrusted to Sichuan Zhuoqin for the construction of eight base film production lines, aiming to attain a production capacity of 3.2 billion square meters. Following this, the second phase will see an infusion of 3 billion yuan, with Sichuan Gaoju taking the helm to construct an additional eight base film production lines in Qionglai City, thereby elevating the production capacity to a staggering 4 billion square meters.
