Elon Musk's SpaceX has announced that starting from June 18, 2026, the monthly fees for consumer-grade Starlink satellite internet service in the United States will increase by $5 to $10, affecting both residential and mobile users. For residential plans, the monthly fee for the 100Mbps tier will rise from $50 to $55, the 200Mbps tier from $80 to $85, and the top-tier plan (above 400Mbps) from $120 to $130. Among mobile plans, the monthly fee for Roam 100GB will increase to $55, Roam Unlimited to $175, while the Roam 300GB plan will remain unchanged at $80. SpaceX stated that the price hikes are due to rising global operational costs and the need for funds to expand the network.
