The LandSpace ZQ-2 Modification Yaowu carrier rocket soared into the skies, achieving a successful launch at the Dongfeng Commercial Aerospace Innovation Test Zone. In a groundbreaking move during this launch, JD Logistics teamed up with LandSpace to deliver, for the very first time, an all-encompassing logistics support solution tailored for the rocket transportation team.
JD Logistics' cutting-edge sixth-generation 'Lone Wolf' autonomous delivery vehicle took on the harsh conditions of the Gobi Desert launch site, braving extreme cold and high winds. It acted as a pathfinder for rocket transportation, undergoing trial runs in this challenging environment. Operating with L4-level autonomous driving technology, the vehicle was remotely controlled by staff members via their mobile phones, efficiently completing its delivery tasks.
Moreover, JD Logistics has been proactively addressing the parcel delivery challenges faced by researchers since 2015. It has set up express delivery stations in Dongfeng Aerospace City, ensuring seamless parcel sending and receiving for the scientific community.
