Recently, the "15th Five-Year Plan for the Development of the Service Industry in Hainan Province (Draft for Public Comments)" has been unveiled for public review and feedback. The plan outlines a strategy to strengthen technical service capabilities throughout the entire aerospace industry chain. This involves expanding capabilities in rocket, satellite, and data link technologies, as well as refining the integrated commercial aerospace industry system that covers "launch operations + services + manufacturing + applications." Concurrently, the plan advocates for the application and commercialization of key technologies, such as green propellants, rocket launch and recovery systems, and integrated low-Earth orbit communication satellite constellations. It also encourages the exploration of pioneering technologies like electromagnetic launch systems to further enhance critical aerospace technical service capabilities. Additionally, the plan envisions the creation of a science and technology innovation public platform within the Wenchang International Aerospace City, along with an international satellite-rocket collaborative research and development center, and an international advanced satellite manufacturing hub. These initiatives aim to propel the aerospace industry into becoming a new driver of economic growth.
