Qunhe Technology, a company firmly established in the spatial intelligence industry, is poised to go public on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) on April 17. Two prominent insurance capital entities, Taikang Life and Sunshine Life, are slated to act as cornerstone investors, jointly investing around HK$181 million. This development not only highlights the insurance sector's unwavering dedication to the technology sphere but also demonstrates the burgeoning enthusiasm among insurance capital providers for participating in cornerstone investments for Hong Kong IPOs, a trend that has been on the rise since 2026. By April 15 of this year, insurance capital had already been involved in cornerstone investments for 12 Hong Kong IPOs, marking a significantly faster pace compared to previous years.
