According to sources familiar with the matter, ByteDance is engaged in in-depth negotiations with Saudi Arabia's Savvy Games Group regarding the sale of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shanghai Moonton Technology, with the transaction valued at approximately US$6 billion to US$7 billion. Moonton Technology is the developer of the popular mobile game 'Mobile Legends: Bang Bang'. Sources familiar with the matter stated that the two parties have reached a preliminary consensus on the main terms of the transaction, and it is expected to be completed as early as this quarter.
