At the 2026 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the household humanoid robot Neo, launched by the Norwegian-American joint venture 1X Technologies, became the media focus, marking a new era in home automation. Invested in and technically supported by OpenAI, the robot stands approximately 168 centimeters tall, weighs about 30 kilograms, and is priced at $20,000 or available through a subscription model at $499 per month. It is planned to begin deliveries to U.S. consumers in 2026 and expand to other markets in 2027.
