According to Canalys, spending on cloud infrastructure services in Mainland China surged to $11.1 billion in the fourth quarter of 2024, marking a 14% year-on-year increase. For the entire year, expenditures jumped from $35.3 billion in 2023 to $40 billion, representing a 13% growth. This substantial uptick is primarily fueled by the rapid adoption of AI models. The advent of high-performance products like DeepSeek has further ignited the enthusiasm of enterprise customers in Mainland China, prompting them to expedite the exploration and deployment of AI applications. Canalys forecasts that the cloud infrastructure service market in Mainland China will witness a growth rate of 15% by 2025.
