Cloudtone Data has successfully closed its Series A funding round, securing RMB 50 million led by Puhua Capital. Additional investments were made by Digital Security Fund, Huadan Capital, and existing shareholder Meiri Interaction. The proceeds from this funding will primarily be allocated towards advancing core technology research and development, promoting the global adoption of intelligent digital green wave solutions, deepening traffic data governance, and expanding intelligent connected vehicle scenarios. The goal is to bolster innovation capabilities within the smart transportation sector. Currently, intelligent digital green wave technology has been deployed in nearly 30 regions, with over 600 intelligent digital green wave bands covering more than 1,000 kilometers of roads. This has resulted in at least a 20% improvement in traffic efficiency, saving citizens 15 to 20 minutes of commuting time daily.
