On February 17th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in collaboration with seven other ministries, unveiled the "Action Plan for High-Quality Development of the New Energy Storage Manufacturing Industry." This comprehensive plan underscores the importance of integrating cutting-edge information technologies, including blockchain, big data, artificial intelligence, and 5G, into the manufacturing of new energy storage solutions. The blueprint calls for expedited construction of smart factories and encourages the digital transformation of crucial processes in the production and system integration of new energy storage products. Additionally, it advocates the adoption of advanced online inspection technologies, such as machine vision, ultrasound, and infrared thermal imaging, to refine quality control systems. Furthermore, the plan emphasizes enhancing the automation of raw material production and packaging processes for new energy storage products, while supporting manufacturers in extending their service chains and pioneering new service-oriented manufacturing models.
