MIIT Reports: Communications Industry's Emerging Business Revenue Hits 434.8 Billion Yuan in 2024, a 10% YoY Increase

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has revealed that in 2024, the emerging business revenue of the communications industry surged to 434.8 billion yuan, marking a year-on-year growth of 10.6%. This figure accounts for 25% of the total telecom business revenue and contributes 2.5 percentage points to overall growth. Among these emerging sectors, cloud computing, big data, and mobile IoT businesses stood out with impressive revenue growth rates of 13.2%, 69.2%, and 13.3%, respectively.
