Kingdee, a leading domestic Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) provider, is progressively reducing its reliance on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and opting to migrate its operations to domestic cloud service platforms. AWS, which once held the position as Kingdee's primary cloud service provider, has encountered obstacles in the Chinese market in recent years, resulting in the loss of significant orders from companies such as NetEase Games, Xiaohongshu, and Ctrip. Despite these challenges, AWS China's net sales in the third quarter of 2024 still witnessed a 19% year-on-year growth, contributing 60% of Amazon's overall operating profit and achieving a new record for operating profit margin since 2014.
