On October 27, 2026 (local time), Oracle and Google announced a collaboration under which Google's Tensor Processing Units (TPUs) will be made available on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for the first time, making Oracle the first hyperscale cloud service provider other than Google to offer TPUs. The service is expected to launch in 2027 and will gradually scale up to support large-scale model training, inference, and agent applications.
