According to sources familiar with the matter, due to volatility in the data center sector, DayOne Data Centers is re-evaluating its U.S. IPO plans, which may involve postponing the listing or reducing the offering size. Headquartered in Singapore, DayOne originally planned to wait for the right time to launch its IPO but is now considering delaying it until market stability is achieved. Another option is to scale down the offering size, aiming to raise between US$2.5 billion and US$3 billion, roughly half of the initial target. DayOne is still engaging with potential investors and hopes to go public as soon as market conditions permit. Previous reports indicated that DayOne originally planned to raise up to US$5 billion through an IPO as early as the fourth quarter, targeting a valuation of approximately US$20 billion. Discussions are still ongoing, and DayOne has not yet made a final decision, with the possibility of proceeding with the IPO in the coming weeks still open. DayOne declined to comment.
