On July 24, the 2026 Server Industry Supply and Demand Matchmaking Event, themed "Intelligent Computing as the Cornerstone, Collaborative Chain for Shared Prosperity," was held in Dongguan, Guangdong Province. The event served as a platform to display the latest innovative accomplishments within China's domestic server industry. During the event, the 2025 China Server Industry Development Research Report was released, highlighting that in 2025, China's server market achieved remarkable sales figures, with a total of 4.727 million units sold and a sales volume reaching 466.26 billion yuan. Notably, AI server sales accounted for approximately 761,000 units, generating a sales volume of around 253.03 billion yuan. Furthermore, Dongguan announced specialized industrial policies and a comprehensive plan for the development of a computing power industrial island. The city plans to invest 100 billion yuan over the next five years to develop an area of approximately 9,000 acres. The ambitious goal is to surpass 500 billion yuan in server industry output value by 2030 and establish a world-class server industry cluster.
