At the World Artificial Intelligence Conference, UCloud and the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology jointly unveiled the prototype system of 'Space Computing Power'. As a pivotal initiative within the framework of industry-university-research cooperation, this system is specifically designed to tackle the challenge of ensuring the reliable operation of computing equipment in the harsh conditions of extreme deep-space environments. Guided by the fundamental principle of 'constructing a closed-loop survival system for a microcosmic universe', the system seamlessly integrates three core subsystems: energy management, core computing power, and thermal management cycling. It establishes a self-sustaining and self-regulating prototype device for space computing power, thereby offering an engineering validation platform for the deployment of high-density chips in extreme environments.
