As investment in artificial intelligence infrastructure surges, tech giants such as Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, and Google are driving a significant increase in global data center demand. To secure funding for expansion, multiple data center operators are planning large-scale equity sales. According to media reports, developers including Netrality Data Centers, DataBank, Edged, and EdgeCore Digital Infrastructure are collaborating with banks to sell majority stakes this summer, with total deal values potentially reaching tens of billions of dollars. This move aims to provide liquidity for operators and bring in more financially robust partners to support large-scale investments in land, power, and construction.
