Additionally, it highlights Guangdong's proactive involvement in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's 6G technology trials, aiming to spearhead the construction and commercialization of 6G networks, thereby securing a competitive edge in the emerging technology landscape.

Parallel to these efforts, the plan underscores the importance of expanding pilot projects for 10-gigabit optical networks, enhancing network performance in critical scenarios, and expediting the modernization of industrial park networks. It also advocates for the widespread adoption of cutting-edge optical fiber and cable technologies, such as G.654E, alongside the deployment of 800G optical transmission systems and all-optical cross-connect equipment, to construct a highly efficient all-optical transport network.
