The U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), in collaboration with Finland's National Bureau of Investigation, arrested a 19-year-old man at Helsinki Airport on suspicion of involvement with one of the world's largest cybercrime groups, 'Scattered Spider.' This group has extorted over $100 million in ransoms through ransomware attacks. Members often impersonate employees to trick IT support into resetting passwords, thereby stealing data and demanding ransoms. Previously, the group has targeted multiple multinational corporations, causing significant economic losses.
