Recently, the People's Government of Fujian Province has formally unveiled the "Digital Fujian Plan for the 15th Five-Year Plan Period." This plan outlines that from 2026 to 2030, Fujian will prioritize data-driven and innovation-driven strategies to spearhead a comprehensive digital and intelligent transformation. The overarching ambition is for Fujian Province to emerge as a national frontrunner in digital and intelligent development by 2030.
The plan zeroes in on driving forward the market-oriented allocation reform of data elements. It sets a specific target: achieving an average annual growth rate exceeding 8% in the added value of core digital economy industries. Additionally, it envisions the creation of over 150 exemplary data application scenarios.
Simultaneously, Fujian Province is committed to bolstering the supply, development, and utilization of data resources. It aims to nurture the growth of the data industry and the artificial intelligence sector, facilitate the in-depth integration of 'AI+' across diverse industries, and ultimately position Digital Fujian as a paragon for Digital China.
