Eight departments, among which is the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, have jointly released the Implementation Opinions on Promoting the High-Quality Development of the Industrial Internet. These opinions put forward that by 2030, the industrial internet will witness broader, deeper, and more advanced development, propelling the in-depth integration of the real economy with the digital economy. By then, new infrastructure will be extensively deployed. This includes the construction of 50,000 industrial 5G private networks, expanding the range of enterprises that can benefit from identification and resolution services, establishing approximately five comprehensive platforms with international clout, and initially forming a complete system of basic industrial data regulations. Integrated applications will span across 207 industrial sub-sectors, nurturing a host of distinctive 5G factories. Moreover, the penetration rate of safety classification and grading among above-scale industrial enterprises in key industries is expected to reach 80%.
