According to the data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, during the first two months of 2026, China’s software business revenue soared to 2,153.4 billion yuan, marking an 11.7% year-on-year increase. The total profit reached 269.3 billion yuan, reflecting a 7.3% year-on-year growth. Meanwhile, software business exports stood at USD 10.38 billion, experiencing a 12.7% year-on-year uptick. Notably, revenue from information technology services amounted to 1,447.4 billion yuan, up by 13.1% year-on-year, accounting for 67.2% of the total industry revenue.
