Nine departments, with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology at the forefront, have jointly released the 'Action Plan for Promoting the Innovative Development of the Internet of Things Industry (2026-2028)'. This plan outlines a strategic vision to accelerate the optimization and enhancement of IoT application terminals, foster the seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and 5G, and bolster capabilities for precise data analysis, intelligent decision-making, and user-friendly interactions. Concurrently, it emphasizes the need to expedite the widespread adoption of IPv6 and advocates for newly introduced industry application terminals to be IPv6-enabled by default, thereby facilitating intelligent transformation and interconnected network connectivity.
