Microsoft has recently forged a partnership with data center developer Crusoe, leasing a 700-megawatt computing capacity from the second-phase project in its Abilene campus in Texas, USA, to strengthen its artificial intelligence computing infrastructure. This campus is home to the first phase of the "Stargate" AI data center, a collaboration between OpenAI and Oracle. The second phase was originally planned for the expansion of "Stargate," but after OpenAI adjusted its computing layout, Microsoft successfully leased it. Previously, Meta had also expressed interest in cooperation.
