In the midst of the flourishing expansion of artificial intelligence, computing power has emerged as the pivotal driving force behind the digital economy. The Shenzhen Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau has unveiled the Action Plan for Accelerating the High-Quality Development of the AI Server Industry Chain in Shenzhen (2026-2028), marking a significant enhancement of the '20+8' industrial cluster strategy. With a focus on 'comprehensive chain' and 'high-end, refined, and state-of-the-art' development, the Action Plan charts the course for eight crucial sectors. These include bolstering the iterative application of domestic chips in core computing and storage, propelling advancements in storage technology, refining technical prowess in PCB, optical communications, and other domains, as well as formulating solutions for energy consumption and heat dissipation. Concurrently, it seeks to invigorate the industry's inherent vitality through institutional innovation and foster a resilient industrial ecosystem, encompassing city-district coordination, collaborative innovation, supply chain security, software-hardware integration, financial backing, and talent development. Over the forthcoming three years, Shenzhen is poised to attain a more prominent stature in the global AI server industry chain.
