On March 19, China Unicom (00762.HK) revealed that, as of December 2025, its cumulative number of connected users had surged to 1.255 billion. This figure encompasses 232 million 5G subscribers and 723 million Internet of Things (IoT) terminal connections. Additionally, the number of clients utilizing 5G industry virtual private network services stood at 23,520. The intelligent customer service system demonstrated a remarkable problem-solving rate of 99.0%, with intelligent services contributing to 85.6% of the total customer interactions. Moreover, the company had been granted a cumulative total of 860 patents over the course of the year.
