Amazon CEO Andy Jassy stated at an all-hands employee meeting that customer demand for artificial intelligence is expected to drive Amazon Web Services (AWS) to achieve annualized sales of $600 billion over the next decade, a figure far exceeding the projected total revenue of approximately $130 billion for 2025. Jassy's optimism may stem from the deepening partnership between AWS and OpenAI. OpenAI has committed to investing nearly $140 billion in Amazon's cloud servers over the next eight years.
