Brendan Carr, Chairman of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC), stated in an interview with Reuters that Amazon should prioritize its own satellite launch project rather than criticizing SpaceX's plan to deploy a constellation of 1 million satellites. Previously, Amazon's satellite business division filed a document with the FCC, questioning the feasibility of SpaceX's plan, arguing that it lacked key technical details and that deploying 1 million satellites was unrealistic, potentially taking centuries to complete. Carr pointed out that Amazon should focus more on its own launch and satellite constellation construction rather than worrying about SpaceX's launch pace. Currently, SpaceX's Starlink project has approximately 10,000 satellites in orbit, while Amazon's Kuiper project has just over 200 satellites in orbit.
