According to Reuters, on February 10 local time, the EU's antitrust authority officially approved Google's all-cash acquisition of cybersecurity startup Wiz for $32 billion (approximately RMB 221.2 billion). Announced in March 2025, the acquisition aims to strengthen Google's positioning in cloud computing and cybersecurity, helping it catch up with competitors such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure. Previously, U.S. regulators had already approved the deal.
