Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), a subsidiary of Blackstone, and Spanish construction group ACS have announced a joint venture agreement to jointly develop data center assets, with an initial portfolio valuation of approximately €2 billion (around $2.3 billion). The joint venture will be 50% owned by each party, based on ACS's existing data center assets. Its business scope will cover Europe, the United States, and Australia, with a planned total installed capacity of 1.7 gigawatts and an overall valuation also around €2 billion.
