At the 2025 Operating System Conference, Yang Chaobin, a Huawei director and the CEO of ICT BG, pointed out that AI technology is swiftly reshaping diverse industries. However, traditional server clusters are facing difficulties in keeping up with the ever-increasing demand for computing power. In response to this challenge, Huawei has unveiled the Lingqu Interconnection Protocol 2.0, aiming to assist the industry in constructing super nodes built upon the Lingqu framework.

At the same time, Huawei has made the decision to contribute operating system plugin code that supports super nodes to the Open Source Euler Community. This code will offer crucial capabilities, including unified memory addressing, low-latency communication for heterogeneous computing power, and global resource pooling.

Moreover, Huawei anticipates that by the end of this year, the installed base of the openEuler (Open Source Euler) operating system will surpass 16 million units, maintaining a consistently leading market share in new additions.
