Turk Telekom stated in a stock exchange filing that it has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Google Cloud. The two parties will provide cloud services in Turkey and establish infrastructure for a new Google Cloud region in the country. The new cloud region is expected to become operational in 2028-2029, featuring at least three availability zones, and will expand Turk Telekom's data center portfolio. Turk Telekom will serve as the infrastructure provider and reseller of Google Cloud services. This project will solidify Turkey's position as a regional hub for digital and AI innovation, supporting low-latency, high-performance cloud services.
