On October 29, 2025, the Shanghai Communications Administration and the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization jointly issued a notice to launch the special initiative for 'millisecond computing' in Shanghai's metropolitan area. This initiative aims to drive all industry participants to focus on ensuring smooth millisecond computing channels and to advance the construction of a city-wide millisecond computing network in a phased manner.
