Over a million merchants in Thailand accept Alipay

On October 24, 2025, Ant International announced the deepening of its cooperation with Thailand's national ITMX company and Bangkok Bank, under the guidance of the Bank of Thailand, to enhance payment convenience for global tourists in Thailand through Thailand's national payment system, PromptPay. PromptPay covers over a million merchants across Thailand, encompassing core consumption scenarios such as shopping and dining. From now on, Chinese tourists in Thailand can complete payments directly by scanning PromptPay QR codes with Alipay through Alipay+ under Ant International. This collaboration marks Ant International's continued deepening presence in the Southeast Asian market.
