OpenAI, Oracle, and Vantage Data Centers have announced plans to construct a large-scale data center campus on the outskirts of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, as part of the expansion of the Stargate initiative. Named Lighthouse, the project involves a total investment of $15 billion and will encompass four state-of-the-art data centers, providing approximately 1,000 megawatts of power capacity to support artificial intelligence computing needs. The project is expected to be completed by 2028.
