In a bid to put the “Action Plan for the High-Quality Development of Computing Infrastructure” into practice and improve computing transmission efficiency, the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has recently released the “Notice on Initiating a Special Campaign for ‘Millisecond-Level Computing’ in Major Urban Regions”. This notice puts forward the idea of leveraging this special campaign to encourage industry stakeholders to prioritize the establishment of seamless millisecond-level computing pathways. It also aims to gradually promote the development of millisecond-level computing networks nationwide, with the ambitious goal of establishing, by 2027, a comprehensive and highly efficient system of metropolitan millisecond-level computing network capabilities.
