Apple has made an announcement stating that it will increase the upper limit of rewards for security vulnerability discoveries to $2 million. The move is aimed at drawing in a greater number of cybersecurity experts to take part in its Bug Bounty Program. This adjustment is set to officially come into force in November 2025. In the case of certain highly challenging attack types, by utilizing a reward stacking mechanism, the maximum single reward that can be obtained can soar up to $5 million. This reflects Apple's strong commitment to enhancing its security measures by incentivizing experts to uncover and report vulnerabilities.
